Apple Tree House ~ New Planning Application
Land to the North of Ware Street
The applicant has granted Maidstone Borough Council an extension of time until March 1st 2020.
An application for seven houses was submitted in September 2016 and refused by Maidstone Borough Council in February 2017, as was an appeal in January 2018.
This new application is for one six bedroom house and four five bedroom houses.
The land is located to the rear of Apple Tree House, Ware Street and is included in the Call For Sites of the Local Plan Review (site 221).
In the Call For Sites documents it was stated that access would be “onto Ware Street with alterations to existing vehicle access onto the site.”
However access in the planning application is shown as being via Popes Wood, off Hockers Lane some 200 metres from the Bearsted Road junction.
